After browsing the galleries of paintings, jewelry, furniture, sculptures, and more, take a stroll in the landscaped park in which the museum resides. • The museum itself is very sober. I had five exhibitions when I went in different rooms. The rest is very rigid structure and decoration. It has places to eat well priced and tasty

  • One of the best museums in Lisbon. Large areas are covered by the collections; Egypt, Greece, the Islamic world, China, Japan, Europe. The Islamic collection is especially strong. Some collections are overstated, the mesopotamian has two items on display. Overall a lot to see in this special museum set within its own park.
  • Cool collection of European painting and neat abstract/ modern wing. The gardens are absolutely fantastic to stroll through. Handicap accessibility, outdoor cafes, and helpful staff also available.
