Naval History Museum Reviews

A great museum at a good price. Our son loves boats so we figured he would like this museum and we were right. It has a lot in it and a lot to read about but mostly a lot to look at. So many boats and canons with great detail on them and at the top there is a really nice seashell exhibit which was a nice bonus. It gets to be a little much at the end but as with any museum see what you want and skip the rest.
Was a good museum and with the 10 Euro per person price tag. We didn't almost two hours here seeing the extensive naval history that Venice has played a part it. Lots of models and historic cannons on display. The staff was mostly friendly and the building was easy to navigate. The downside were that as you progressed up the levels the English translations begin to disappear and you find yourself rushing through the final floors. It left a little to be desired, but all in all was a good stop.
