  • The church of Sant'Aponal was founded in the eleventh century by ravenned refugees and dedicated to St. Apolinar. Restored over the centuries, it underwent an important reconstruction in the fifteenth century. During the Napoleonic occupation, it was disshrined and reconsecrated only in 1851. For a time it was used as a prison for political prisoners. It was re-closed in 1984, and is now primarily an archive and mourn. The facade retains parts of decoration of Gothic architecture.

  • Erected, in the middle of the 9th century, dedicating it to St. Apollinare (Aponal in dialect) in the small Camp S.Aponal (Sestiere di San Polo, Calle del Ponte crooked), has maintained the beautiful facade in the original Gothic style, while inside it has undergone various renovations that changed her appearance, keeping only the single-aisle system. In the Church were home to four guilds: Mandolieri (sellers of almonds and almond oil), Sellers of Flour, Corderi and Tagliapietra, each with its own Altar and the facade still preserves numerous sculptures and bas-reliefs related to these Schools. The facade is also decorated, with five newsagents and a marble crucifix from the late '300s. Since the middle of the 20th century it has been closed to worship.
