Chiesa di San Rocco Reviews

The placement and illumination of the large canvases of the Tintoretto is not particularly happy but certainly the architecture, the altar with the ark of the saint and the paintings of the nave are worth the ticket. Personally, I do not appreciate the churches that provide for paid entry... but if they serve to help preserve this masterpiece of Italian art, it is 2 euros well spent...

Construction began in 1489, but the church was not completed until 1771. Inside you can admire paintings by the famous Venetian painter Jacopo Tintoretto. Right next to the church is the Scuola Grande di San Rocco with other works.
