Park · Nature / Park
Parco Regionale La Mandria, the largest enclosed park in Europe, houses fascinating treasures like the last of the forest that once covered the Po Plain. When you go, keep an eye out for wildlife, including reindeer and wild boars. You can even see breeds of racehorses that are now at risk of extinction. There is also a castle, Borgo Castello, built in the mid 19th century by Victor Emmanuel II of Sardinia. You can choose to explore this large park on foot or by trolley and horse carriage.
