So, there are places to visit in Turin; some are better known than others, also because it is the nature of the Sabaries (i.e. the Turin doc), do not make too much publicity to beautiful things. Now, what is the museum of urban art: in a neighborhood not very central of Turin, but served very well by public transport, as you arrive and start again with the 13, which stops at Porta Susa and Piazza Castello, an entire neighborhood is chock full of beautiful murals , which come out unexpectedly. A ride to do more than once, also because the details are many.View original -

My rating, if possible, would be 3 and a half "balls." It is certain that one does not go or transit to Turin to contemplate "Street Art". Nevertheless, a small working-class district of the city, the "Borgo Vecchio Campidoglio" has lent itself to the game with more or less success, it is the first initiative of its kind in Italy. I walked there after my visit to the open-air market and halls of Porto Palazzo (20 minutes by tram!), also to get off the beaten track and I do not regret it, despite the unusual heat even more difficult to bear in the narrow streets of Campi doglio. The area is accessible by public transport (to be recommended absolutely!) without difficulty, by tram or metro, Bernini station (on this square, you can quench your thirst and fill the gourds at the water point, drinkable, as everywhere in Turin and Rome unless otherwise advised); on foot, it's not exactly in the tourist center. Once you arrive, it can be "the hassle" if you do not have a detailed plan of the creations (wall frescoes etc). The plan is probably available in a tourist office or at your accommodation, but I did get it (AFTER having discovered some random works... it's another way to visit not unpleasant and that reserves surprises!) that at the address of the "museum" (new address?), an art gallery not yet completed at the time when I went there ... There are more than 120 works (mostly murals and some originalities) to admire, and there is something for everyone. scattered all over the place, to the San Alfonso church located near the great boulevard "Corso Tassoni" (where the trams pass). Unless you're a "bitten" I don't advise you to try to see everything. Unfortunately, some very beautiful frescoes have already been "tagged". Even if this travelling visit is not a must, it is interesting. One could regret the absence of legend, next to the frescoes... but it makes the imagination work!View original
