  • During our wanderings through the city centre of Turin, we came to the Chiesa di Santa Teresa and they were looking at us from the inside. Admission is free, is open daily from 7:30 to 12:00 and from 15:30 to 18:00. The baroque design is worth a visit in any case and therefore a visit worth.

  • Is one of the many baroque churches in the historic centre. In it have left significant traces architects like Filippo Juvarra and painters like il Moncalvo who painted the main altarpiece. Luminous nave and balanced environment stylistically. The side chapels are filled with paintings, frescoes and bas-reliefs. There is a Carmelite spirituality and prayer cards and leaflets are available to many. Very nice antique confessionals carved by a Carmelite Friar of the ' 700.

  • Among the best examples of Savoy Baroque architecture in Turin. It houses valuable works of seventeenth-century Piedmont school and an eighteenth-century altar of Juvarra. Architectural evidence of a period of urban transformation in Turin from the capital to the capital of the Savoy kingdom. It guards the mortal remains of royal madam Cristina.

  • Located in the historic center of Turin, near Piazza San Carlo and via Pietro Micca, in the homonymous Street, the church of Santa Teresa was dedicated to the great saint of Avila by his Carmelite brethren in 1600. His own architects were religious Carmelites, who were inspired by the twin churches, not too far away, of Santa Cristina and San Carlo.
