I visited this church, normally open only on reservation, on the occasion of the days of spring after a queue of about an hour and I was very satisfied because although small is still very nice. Made in 1700 by the architect Vittone presents an almost neoclassical layout, with a light blue colour that makes it particularly luminous, also thanks to the stained glass windows from which the light is filtered. It's a circular plan. The recent restoration has allowed to bring to light the original plaster! The guide was very thorough and really smart. In about half an hour we excellently explained the architectural history of this complex with the annexed convent of the Poor Clares and the religious orders that have managed it to this day. After a brief introduction in the classroom of the church the visit continued, going up for 4 floors, on the balcony overlooking the inner courtyard and then in the gallery around the dome from which you can admire the interior of the church from above. Very SPECIAL!! It is located in the centre, a few hundred metres from the Museum of Oriental Art and the Barolo Palace. A unique opportunity to see a little jewel in Turin!
Two very good guides have told very well about the whole group. Thanks again Francesca.
