The original building dates back to the ' 20s of the twentieth century, in a rationalist style: great use of reinforced concrete and large windows. The workshops consisted of two long bodies (over five hundred meters long), connected by multistorey sleepers; On the top is the famous test track. The project winner of the International Recovery competition is the studio Dell'archistar Renzo Piano: The enormous volumes have been restructured in the interior, creating a multifunctional structure with exhibition spaces, conference centre, Hotel, Shops, offices and training spaces. The Congress centre occupies the ground floor and the basement of a portion of the long building, can be prepared at the theatre or at the Congress Centre: large and numerous halls (the Maggiore, dedicated to Gianni Agnelli, can accommodate 2000 people, but there are many others that They range from 50 to 500 seats, all of which can be connected by audio and video systems. Perfect installation for conferences and Congresses: The main hall has ceilings, stage and mobile seating and an automatic system can vary the acoustics, excellent video projection system.

A few more steps to reach it on foot from the exit of Métro have certainly not discouraged us, and so we mixed with the large audience of visitors who crowded, losing us among the stands of the great publishers like Mondadori and Adelphi, but also stopping in Space of Rai Libri (ex Rai Eri), the publishing house of Rai that has also renewed in the name, and that has recorded the sold out with the presence of very beloved characters as Alberto Angela and Vincenzo Mollica. We "intercepted" his intervention just as they were projected on the screen of the Rai stage the videomessages dedicated to him by Fiorello and Vasco. And, we admit it without modesty, we are moved also by the affection that has been shown by the public. Always nice to be involved in the enthusiastic climate that distinguishes the salon, and live Turin as a book city in full. We have heard and shared the always great enthusiasm of the people of Turin and not for a cultural manifestation that is never left to chance, despite the difficulties and contingencies, and we promised to return again next year. Faithful and passionate.
Generally a good conference venue.
This venue is truly good. First of all the rooms are big, with very comfortable seats and easy to access/exit. Secondly the projectors are very good and the screens very big. Thirdly upstairs you'll find restaurants to have a great lunch. I was here attending the Droidcon Italy 2016 with around 800 people.
