  • A view over Rome and great views of the Vatican and Rome, it has a cafe, and an Art show. The place has some hidden treasures.  more »
  • Both the building itself and the works of art it contains are impressive. That said, (1) entry is expensive (EUR 15.-); the audioguide is too concise and is content with generalities, even banalities; (3) WiFi (included in the price) to use the App does not work (see below); staff is execrable (see below). The worst thing for us was that The Château St-Ange housed an exhibition of Bulgari. As such, this temporary exhibition is interesting and has beautiful rooms but they are installed in rooms of the castle usually dedicated to the visit. 5 to 6 rooms are thus removed from the visit in favor of this temporary exhibition. It's very frustrating. When we entered the castle with a wire cut ticket, we were quickly referred to the beginning of the tour. About ten meters after the entrance, a panel 2m high by 50cm wide in English and Italian indicates how to connect to WiFi and use the audioguide app. Everyone stays there between 2 and 10 minutes to connect. After 10 minutes of battle with my phone without success, I go back to the reception to ask if there is an "old-time" audioguide or help for WiFi. The person at the reception was filthy: without exaggerating, she told me that the Castle was not responsible, that it was not his problem and that it was not his business. Having said this, he called the next person, thus telling us that it was over. It's a real scandal.
