Parco di Monza, Monza

#1 of 19 in Parks in Province of Monza and Brianza
Must see · Park · Nature / Park
Enclosed by 13 km (8 mi) of walls, Parco di Monza is one of Europe's largest parks and green spaces. Explore the 688 hectares (1,700 acres) of wooded parkland, established on orders from Napoleon Bonaparte. Wander along miles of paved trails for a glimpse of historic farmhouses, villas, and monuments. Keep your eyes open for bird, foxes, kestrels, and rabbits. You can take a 30-minute tour on the park's mini-train. Bring along a picnic if you like. Check online bike rental information; they're not always available. • A few days ago I visited the park by bicycle🚲 from Bergamo. The park is massive in size. It is full of innumerable green plants 🌲🌳🍁 and there are open green-fields ⛳🌲 everywhere. There is also a narrow river🏞️ flowing through the park. I couldn't visit the park well in one day due to lack of time🕰️⌛, but I was impressed by what I saw. Hopefully I'll be back here again. A very beautiful park. The park is self-sufficient in all respects👍👍.
  • Huge and well kept park, ideal for walking/running. Animal lovers will get to see a lot of squirrels running around.
