  • Private castle, and inhabited, placed on the list of castles of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza. Not only beautiful mansion, but exuding history, dramas, torture, Loves, murders, ghosts and everything a serious Italian manor has to offer. Highly recommended visit, 14 euros well spent.

  • After one to say the least lustful eaten at the prestigious Locanda del Falco, nothing better than to dispose of the hearty lunch paying a visit to the castle Rivalta del Conti Zanardi Landi (still there residents). The castle is a stratification of history homeland that certainly deserves to be known, from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, from neoclassical to 800, until 900 of the great wars. History linked to Genoa and Venice of which you can see two of the three flags of the Venetian "Admirals" who participated in the Battle of Lepanto, not by chance one of the most exciting attractions of the castle in a room, moreover, which is a delight for anyone Passionate about medieval weapons and armor that make a beautiful exhibition in the Count's large collection. Even the fans of military uniforms will have their good satisfaction. The nice kindness and profound preparation of our guide Sofia has added one more reason to the goodness of the choice to visit the castle of Rivalta.

  • Share a lifestyle that has passed from view. The restaurant is very good but the bar for breakfast much less so - get a grip.
  • Fiabesque, I cannot think of a better word for it.
