Some installations are a bit worn and a little abandoned to themselves, I would recommend a proper maintenance. At the end of the course you would like to see something more, maybe have some more notion about the many wineries in the area, or could be included in the ticket a taste of wine... I do not know, I hope that these criticisms can be constructive for a small improvement.
This is a hokey collection of rooms in an old castle, filled with 1980's type lighting effects and cosmic general statements about time, life, the universe and everything, and nothing about the wines ... more »
Not that big. But.. there is alot of information and a interesting way to try several wines from the area.. including €70+ bottles of wine for around €4
WiMu has some interesting parts (well, one in particular for me anyway), a nice piece on the historical side of wine making. Otherwise it was quite underwhelming, especially the side displays, and got sucked into all the hubris and pretension I didn’t want to see, instead of committing itself to delivering an interesting experience. The enoteca at the end was a nice touch (kind of separate to the museum). One to tick off though could have done without it. Also did not enjoy the audio guide.
