The Torre Troyana (Troyan Tower, after the family Troya that built it) is a tower in Asti, Italy, and one of the main symbols of the city.

It is a campanile, or freestanding bell tower, and in the 19th century it was used to signal hours during daylight.

  • Interesting tower. Good views around the city. You have to climb up a lot of steps. The tower is unmanned and you have to obtain your ticket from the Palazzo Mazzetti in the town centre. They will...  more »
  • A really nice 12-13th century tower 44m high which is wonderfully decorated from the exterior. Worth going up to have a nice view of the city.  more »
  • Great views over Asti. Quiet on June afternoon, there was no one in the tower but us. Went as part of the Asti 6 museums pass, obtained from Palazzo Mazzetti.
