Experience a piece of history at Teatro Romano, the remains of a first-century amphitheater. Today, just seven of the original 60 arches remain in this structure that once held 20,000 people. There is also a surrounding wall of which only part remains, which stands 22 m (72 ft) tall. A walkway will help you easily navigate the area, and informational brochures are available nearby. Special events, such as light shows, are sometimes hosted here. Plan to see Teatro Romano and other attractions that appeal to you using our Aosta trip itinerary builder site .

Teatro Romano Reviews
Come riportato nel titolo fatevi guidare nei meandri (pochi ma interessanti ) di questo meraviglioso complesso . more »As reported in the title let yourself be guided in the meanderies (few but interesting) of this wonderful complex.

All really very nice, too bad that having a guide would have been better, since reading the captions is not the same as having a person or headphones that a prepared person explains. So not doing so you lose after a while the interest and it is a pity that the Italian beauties are not valued as they should. So 5 stars to the Roman remains, 1 star to those who deal with Italian cultural heritage.
Very good experience to discover Aosta. The ticket is 7€ (5€ reduced price, 2€ until 18 years) and includes four attractions: Teatro romano, Criptoportico forense, Chiesa Paleocristiana di San Lorenzo and Museo archeologico regionale. The Roman theater is the star as it has a very nice path to tour it. The four can be covered in one day and it's a great plan to walk the city.
Fascinating; I wonder how much of today's construction that long?
