    The first mention of Le Pont Vieux was in 1194, then it was a wooden toll bridge, and took ten years to build. During the Albigensian crusade the bridge was destroyed, and was not rebuilt till early.....  more »

    This is the old bridge that connects the City with La Cite, the old historical castle. It's a great place to get some great photos of La Cite as you are situated a little way back, so much more is available to capture. Very highly recommended đź‘Ť
