  • I have been visiting the WCC since 1984 and loved every moment of it. I hope to eventually acquire a volunteering position with them sometime in the near future but I will always visit the WCC since everyone there is so great to be around and very knowledgeable with all the material in the museum. Their passion for their work shows in how friendly they are with visitors. Anyways, that's why I give this rating 5 stars.
  • The Woodland Cultural Centre is more than a museum; it is an experience. The history of native habitation in this part of southern Ontario is recounted in displays, artifacts and multimedia, and the story of the interaction between Six Nations and European settlers is told with accuracy and candour. Anyone who comes to the Centre will learn about and be moved by this powerful story. The Centre lies in the shadow of one of the last remaining Residential School buildings and across the road from H.M. Royal Chapel of the Mohawks. A great testimonial to resilience, survival, truth and reconciliation.
